The Diabetes Care Program is a free online service offered to USask employees and their dependents, to help those living with type-1 or type-2 diabetes.
USask is hosting a one-hour online information session to introduce the Diabetes Care Program, review details of the program, and answer any questions. More information.

It’s that time of year again! We are holding elections for our available Table Officer positions and Membership Officer position on November 24 & 25, 2025. Please note that the election will be ENTIRELY online. There will be no in-person voting. Voting will be from November 24th at 4:00 pm to 4 pm on November 25th. Please watch for an email to your USask account from “Election Runner” closer to that date to vote!
Results will be announced at the AGM on November 25th at 5 pm in HLTH 1A03 following the election.

We will be holding election forums for each position where each candidate will make an opening statement and be available to answer questions from the membership. The forums will be in person and virtual. Stay tuned for those announcements!

CUPE 1975 will once again be conducting its yearly elections in November. The positions up for election this year are 1st Vice-President, Treasurer and Membership Officer. The Table Officer positions are two-year terms and the Membership Officer is a one year term.
Anyone wishing to run for one of these positions will need to submit a nomination form, which is available at our CUPE 1975 office (Rm 21, McLean Hall) or attached below . Please submit the completed form to our office on or before 4:00 pm on Monday, October 27, 2025. Our office hours are 9-4 pm daily or you can submit via email at office@cupe1975.com.
All the Area Rep positions are up for election each year as well. Stay tuned for more information on area meetings that will be coming. There will also be Candidate forums for the Table Officer positions.
This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with the union. All training is provided and any time away from work is covered by the union.

These BBQs are free to attend and non-partisan in nature. Our objective is to have a fun and social event to can connect with our constituents and enjoy the last of what summer has to offer before the weather turns. Details are still being finalized, however we plan to have face painting, ice cream (courteously of the Big Green Machine) and games in addition to the free food and drinks we will be providing. It promises to be fun for all ages! We hope that you and your members will be able to join us at one (or both) of these events.

We are currently taking applications to attend the OH&S Conference in September in Saskatoon. If you are involved in OH&S and are interested in attending, please fill out the application form and submit to the office by August 19th.
We had a great time at our BBQ last week! Thank you to everyone who pitched in to help and to CUPE Sask for providing everything! It was a huge success and we are very grateful to all of our members for all they do!
