12 Days of Christmas Cheer!

To show our appreciation to all our members and to spread some holiday cheer, CUPE 1975 is giving away $100 dollars a day for 12 days before Christmas!  The giveaway starts on December 1st and goes until December 16th!

Check our website (www.cupe1975.ca) or Facebook every day to see if your name has been chosen from our random generator.  All current members names have been included so there is no need to register.  If you are a lucky winner, you can contact the office to arrange for pick up or a cheque will be mailed to you prior to the break!

Fall Social

Thanks to everyone who came out to our Fall Social this past weekend! We had a ton of fun…so much so that we forgot to take pictures! Here are the few we rounded up!

Area Rep Meetings

Two more Area Rep meetings: Food Services and Stores/Security/Technicians have been scheduled. There are also the Clericals and BST/Caretakers meetings coming up as well!

This is a great way to get involved with the union and to have your voice be heard! Contact the office with any questions.

Please join us for our Candidates’ Forums in November. Each candidate will make an opening statement, take questions from our members and then give a closing statement.  This event will be in person and online.  A Zoom link is attached, if needed.

Diabetes Care Program information session

From healthy habits to the latest monitoring devices, Sun Life—USask’s benefit provider—has a dedicated team ready to support you on your diabetes journey. The Diabetes Care Program is a free online service offered to USask employees and their dependents, to help those living with type-1 or type-2 diabetes.

USask is hosting a one-hour online information session to introduce the Diabetes Care Program, review details of the program, and answer any questions. More information.

CUPE 1975 Elections

Greetings CUPE 1975 members! 

It’s that time of year again!  We are holding elections for our available Table Officer positions and Membership Officer position on November 24 & 25, 2025.  Please note that the election will be ENTIRELY online.  There will be no in-person voting.  Voting will be from November 24th at 4:00 pm to 4 pm on November 25th. Please watch for an email to your USask account from “Election Runner” closer to that date to vote!

Results will be announced at the AGM on November 25th at 5 pm in HLTH 1A03 following the election.
